For Lady B Spots Trouble Volume 1 of the Allowed to Say NO! Series
The material in the Lady B Spots Trouble Teacher’s Guide enables teachers to meet the required learning outcomes for the core curriculum competencies and content requirements of the British Columbia Ministry of Education regarding appropriate and inappropriate touch for Kindergarten students.
The teaching points will enable Kindergarten students to: ✔ recognize specific emotions and feelings related to maintaining healthy physical boundaries; ✔ identify the difference between appropriate and inappropriate touch that hurts or makes them feel uncomfortable, including but not exclusive to the touching of private parts; ✔ develop personal refusal skills regarding inappropriate touch; ✔ identify a support network of trusted adults; ✔ develop skills to ask trusted adults for help when they are uncomfortable; and ✔ name private body parts.

Each weekly lesson is divided into a primary session of approximately thirty to forty-five minutes, and a second session of approximately fifteen minutes to reinforce the weeks lesson.
